What
do you think of the recent movies that have come out about sperm donation? I have read several articles and blogs and
many people are for the movies, while others are not so excited about the
recent boom in media.
I
went and saw the movie the Back Up Plan with Jennifer Lopez. Although I think the movie just skimmed the
surface and made the process seem a lot easier than it really is I think it is
great that movies are starting to address assisted reproductive technologies.
The
newest movie, The Kids Are Alright, seems
to be diving a little bit deeper. In
fact, it is about two lesbians who go through the donor insemination process
and have two children with the same donor.
I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I am sure I will have mixed emotions. I have already gotten them from just watching
the trailer.
Will
you be going to see this movie? Or do
you think the movies were filmed with rose color lenses?
