A reader recently brought to my
attention that the process of conceiving through donor sperm is not a struggle
for everyone. I have so often felt for my
friends and clients that were going through this process and having so many
disappointments. But to focus only on
the struggles and not on the joy of the process is doing my readers a
disservice. Yes, infertility can be a
heartbreaking thing in life to endure, but not everyone who chooses donor
insemination is infertile.
I have worked with many single women
and lesbians who are so very excited about taking one step closer to fulfilling
their dreams. Just as I’ve cried with
the clients who are suffering, I also
feel hopeful and excited with the ones who cannot wait for their journey to
start.
The reader that brought this all to my
attention was a past client of Xytex with 2 beautiful children. She told me that, “Picking a Xytex donor was
