Client Relations Specialist

SUMMARY: As a member of the Client Services Team, the ideal candidate will work with the primary mission of exceeding internal goals and customer expectations with the highest level of professionalism, while providing superior service and further developing interoffice skills. A highly motivated problem solver and team player, a CSS will also follow referral leads to generate and increase enrollment revenue.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides superior service, fostering advocacy and assistance, resulting in satisfied clients.
  • Meets or exceeds referral lead creation and enrollment goals to increase revenue.
  • Maintains client and employee confidentiality.
  • Follows company’s standard operating procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Participates in continuing education and training.
  • Identifies areas of improvement.
  • Answers client service inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail, to also include online ordering and website assistance.
  • Manages and maintains client database.
  • Assists clients with Client Web Portal (CWP) usage.
  • Completes all additional daily tasks with regularity.
  • Verifies and distributes various forms, including invoices and other client-related documentation.
  • Processes client payments and refunds, as necessary.
  • Uses discretion while supportively managing complex, emotional, and time-sensitive client cases.
  • Seeks resolution while investigating client concerns and requests, while favorably working with other departments, fostering workplace cohesiveness.
  • Employs upselling, cross-selling, and add-on sales techniques to increase order size and overall revenue.
  • Performs other duties, such as occasional outbound calls and customer follow up, as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required, and up to two years related experience and/or training.

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook. MS Access a plus.
