Donor Recruiter

Summary

Recruits potential donors at promotional, community, and college events to ensure company meets its desired projection. This position will be responsible for researching upcoming events and community involvement. Recruiter will inform candidates of the Donor Program and answer any questions the candidate may have during the recruitment stage. Maintains rapport with donors to inform them of any new recruiting bonus/ideas and frequents recruiting areas often speaking with potential candidates.

Duties

  • Responsible for a proactive approach to donor recruitment. This includes preparation and placement of advertising, college campus recruitment, and community outreach
  • Assists with implementation of the donor referral program
  • Assist in creating marketing plans to increase candidate recruitment numbers
  • Complete marketing event planning more than 45 days before each event and submit event planning form to Donor Coordinator and Donor Manager. This form includes event name, event date and time, event location, background, event description, measurable objectives, target audience, branding, strategies, event promotion, event budget, risk management and post-event evaluation
  • Proficient in data research and analytics for donor recruiting and marketing
  • Retain the donor onboarding process and serve as back up in the Donor Coordinators absence
  • Greet donors and allow access into building during work hours
  • Relays required information to the Donor Coordinator regarding candidates
  • Updates Donor Coordinator and Donor Manager on recruitment activity and recruiting outcomes
  • Promotes efficiency, productivity, and professionalism in all facets of the business
  • Retains the highest level of customer service and phone etiquette: able to communicate to all donor candidates in a friendly and professional manner

The employee is required to sit for prolong periods of time and occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred OR two year degree plus experience in the marketing field
  • Computer skills: Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, routine database activity, operate job boards
  • Implement the recruiting strategy for the Athens office
  • Interpersonal skills, a collaborative style, and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints
  • A passion for getting things done and fearless recruiting attitude
  • Team player with a positive “can do” approach

Limited supervision: Excellent self-management and leadership skills, including a big picture perspective, excellent people, and organizational skills. Recruiter must have reliable transportation.
